As the administrative head of Holmes County government, the three-member board of commissioners set the strategic direction and fiscal priorities for the county government. With an estimated annual budget of $43 million, the commissioners work with business and community leaders to preserve the high quality of life that makes Holmes County a great place to live and work.
In addition to guiding the budgetary priorities of the county government at large, the Holmes County Board of Commissioners are responsible for the administering the following departments:
