The Holmes County Adult Probation strives to provide the best possible service to the community and courts in the supervision of criminal offenders and in the enforcement of court orders placed upon criminal offenders. The Adult Probation department consists of a Chief Probation Officer, three Probation Officers, a part-time Pre-Sentencing Investigation Specialist and a Secretary.
Our primary responsibility is the supervision of, and enforcement of court orders on, offenders who have been convicted of crimes and have been placed on community control sanctions or probation by the courts in Holmes County. The Probation Department also monitors certain offenders who have been released on bond pending trial conducts expungement investigations and pre-sentence investigations for the courts.
