Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP):
You may be eligible for a grant to purchase a new home or renovate your existing home. CHIP grants are awarded based on your household income. A CHIP grant can be used for: roofs, heating, windows, new home construction, insulation, electrical, plumbing and much more. To purchase a home an applicant must be preapproved for financing by a financial institution. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to repair mobile homes. Please contact the HEAP program at 740-622-9801 for information regarding mobile home repairs. Our income guidelines are listed in the table below.
